The gap is not the technology. It's the operating model.
The reason is not the technology. It is not adoption. It is that AI output has nowhere to land. No prioritized decision, no named owner, no organizational conditions to act. Intelligence generated. Value unrealized. This is Stranded Intelligence.
Every decision made without AI input that should have had it widens the gap. That accumulation is Decision Debt.
The Decision-First Operating Model is the architecture that makes Stranded Intelligence structurally impossible. The right organization, the right talent, the right AI-decision flows, all designed around the decisions that matter most.
We work with a small number of organizations at a time. Our engagements are structured, specific, and built around your decisions, not generic playbooks.
SC Networks was founded by Noha Tohamy, a supply chain strategist with 30 years of experience working with CSCOs across industries on strategy, technology adoption, and talent development.
After 18 years at Gartner, most recently as a VP Distinguished Analyst, Noha saw a pattern. The strategies that served supply chain leaders well: demand-driven, outside-in, outcome-based. They were built for a different pace of change. AI is moving faster than any of them were designed to absorb. The gap between what AI can do and what supply chains can act on is widening, and the familiar frameworks are not closing it.
The diagnosis is not controversial. Most supply chain leaders agree that current operating models are failing to capture AI's potential. What has been missing is a precise answer to why, and a structured path forward.
SC Networks exists to provide both. The Decision-First Operating Model is the framework Noha developed to address the root cause: organizations are building AI capability without first defining the decisions that capability needs to serve. Starting with the decision changes everything downstream: how you organize, what talent you need, how you redesign workflows.
SC Networks is a boutique practice. We work with a select number of clients at a time, providing hands-on support throughout the journey, from diagnosis to design to implementation.
SC Networks works with a limited number of organizations. If you are evaluating an AI investment, navigating an operating model change, or looking for a research-backed perspective, we would like to hear from you.
